Erick is a seasoned entrepreneur with over 17 years of creative and new media experience. As VP, Product & Creative at ThisNext, he manages an extremely talented team of designers and product leaders. The group is responsible for the entire brand, design, and product offerings at ThisNext.com (as well as Stylehive.com and StyleDiary.net).
Prior to ThisNext, Erick held executive level positions at Razorgator and Ticketmaster where he led the Design, HTML, Content, Marketing, and Product Management teams. In addition to his role at Ticketmaster corporate, he founded and ran the company’s creative agency, Cottonblend, whose clients included AMEX, TicketWeb, Herbie Hancock, Sony Centre, Shows in Branson, and The Troubadour.
In 2008, Erick took Cottonblend independent and built an entirely new design and development studio from the ground up. As a creative agency, the award-winning Cottonblend worked with such clients as The Hollywood Reporter, Business.com, DexKnows, and Crowdrise. The fledgling design studio also founded Cuteness Pet Community (http://www.cuteness.com), Driftr.com (http://www.driftr.com), and The Pixel Awards (http://www.pixelawards.com).
Erick currently lives in Venice, California with his wife, Lisa, and our identical twin daughters, Ella Moon and Hadley Star.
