Eric is the Founder and Managing Partner of White Star Capital, an early-stage investment fund focused on Social Media, Gaming and e-Commerce.
Eric has over 18 years of investment banking and VC investment experience. He was a founding member and Partner of Messier Maris & Associés, a leading boutique firm in the media and technology space and has been directly involved in more than 50 transactions valued in excess of $10 billion. Eric has been doing early-stage investments since 2007 and led White Star Capital’s investments and Board roles in Ludia, Betaworks, Science and Execution Labs amongst others.
White Star Capital, is an investment fund that deploys between $250k and $2.5M in startups in North America, Western Europe and other selective markets. It firmly believes in the rise of mobile, the acceleration of e-commerce, and the power of the social web and have identified a niche for as a well-networked early-stage investor with access to the right deal-flow to capture these opportunities.
Born in Canada, Eric and his family divide their time between Guernsey, New York, Montreal, Paris and London. He graduated from ESSEC in France and holds a B.Com degree in Finance from HEC-Montreal.
