International M&A adviser to Internet companies and active early-stage investor. He joined Arma Partners in late 2009 as a Partner to lead the global Internet practice. Arma is a European M&A advisory boutiques serving Internet, technology and telecoms companies. Arma has advised recently on the sale of online video advertising company goviral to AOL, sale of French eCommerce group PriceMinister to Rakuten of Japan for $260m and sale of German web hosting company Strato to Deutsche Telekom for $410m.
Prior to Arma, he was a Founding Partner at LongAcre Partners from 2001, which was sold to Jefferies & Co Inc. in June 2007. LongAcre were the leading mid-market media and Internet M&A advisers in Europe and closed over €14bn deals between 2002/07. At Jefferies from June 2007 - June 2009, Eric was Head of European Digital Media and a Managing Director.
Early stage investments include Bebo (social networking), Barefruit (error monetisation), Spoonfed (SaaS engine for live events promotion), Limonetik (online payment technology), Movellas (social publishing) and Performance Horizon (affiliate DSP).
