Eric Golin

Eric Golin is the CTO at Carbonite.

Eric Golin has served as Carbonite’s chief technology officer since April 2011. From September 2008 to April 2011, he served as our senior director of server architecture.

Prior to Carbonite, Eric served as chief technology officer and vice president of engineering for Eons, Inc., a social network web portal, where has was responsible for product development and website operations.

Prior to that, Dr. Golin served as chief technology officer for Content Objects, Inc., a peer-to-peer file sharing software company, with responsibility for product strategy.

Prior to that time, Dr. Golin was Founder & Chief Technology Officer of Argo Technology, Inc., a desktop search software company, where he led product development.

At BroadVision, Inc., Dr Golin served as principal architect, director of engineering, vice president of worldwide professional services, and chief technology officer.

Dr. Golin holds a Ph.D., M.S., and B.S. in Computer Science from Brown University.
