Eric Friedman is an experienced technologist who loves to create and scale innovative consumer applications. At CNET / Webshots, Eric led the engineering team for one of the largest photo sharing sites in the world, with 500+ million stored photos and 20+ million monthly visitors. Before Webshots, he was a co-founder of Windup Labs, which created HeyPix, one of the first P2P photo sharing applications. CNET Networks acquired Windup Labs in 2005. Prior to Windup Labs, Eric was a founding engineer of Epesi Technologies and was also a technical member of the Real-Time Collaboration Group at Microsoft. Eric has a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Yale University.Eric Friedman is the CTO for Fitbit. Prior to Fitbit, Eric led engineering for Webshots.com, a property of CNET Networks. Eric joined CNET via the acquisition of Windup Labs, where he was a co-founder. Eric has also held technical positions at Epesi Technologies and Microsoft.
