As a co-founder of online advertising company Undertone, Franchi has helped the company become the leading provider of digital advertising solutions for brand advertisers and premium publishers. As a member of the executive team he has helped Undertone earn and maintain its reputation as a best place to work in New York City (according to Crain’s) and one of the most valuable private companies in the world (Business Insider).
In his current role, Franchi leads Undertone’s thought leadership program and media relations. In this position, Eric acts as the company’s main spokesperson, commenting on company developments and broader industry trends in the press, on speaker platforms and via training and educational programs.
Franchi has played a pivotal role since the company’s founding in 2001. Most recently, he served as head of publisher development, responsible for managing and growing Undertone’s extensive portfolio of more than 350 premium publishers, including Disney ABC, NBC Universal and Gannett. Previously, he led Undertone’s ad sales division. In this role, he worked with leading agencies, winning business from Carat, Digitas and Razorfish, among others, bringing clients such as American Express, Hyatt, Volkswagen, AT&T, Target and Kraft to Undertone.
