Eric Facas is a social entrepreneur, start-up advisor, and digital media strategist with over ten years of experience at leading Internet companies and start-ups.
Eric recently founded Mediacause.org, which uses crowdsourcing to provide free search marketing services to non-profits by recruiting and empowering media professionals as volunteers.
In 2009, Eric co-founded a digital business accelerator and consultancy, Tallwave. In addition to general strategy and business development, Eric was responsible for creating the companies second portfolio company, the digital advertising agency named ethology, which launched publicly in late 2010 with over 25 clients.
Prior to Tallwave, Eric spent five years at Google where he played a significant role in important program launches, built new teams from the ground up, and developed sales strategies across platforms ranging from Search Engine Advertising to Social Media. His accomplishments included successfully running Googleâ€™s SEM and Agency Councils, growing strategic partnerships, and participating in the creation of the multi-billion dollar AdWords API program. Eric received an exclusive EMG/Founderâ€™s award from Googleâ€™s Executive Management Group for his work on this particular product in September of 2008.
