Left the suit, tie and cufflinks brigade in 1998, having decided that the Internet industry was a more exciting place to be than Finance.

Eric raised funds for an Internet startup in the UK in early 2000 just before the bottom fell out of the market.

In 2003, Eric co-founded incuBeta.com / clicks2customers.com and in 2005 bought their Affiliate Network division, TrafficSynergy.com which has subsequently become South African’s largest Affiliate Network.

His latest venture is technology social media and ecommerce play - springleap.com
