Eric Carr is the VP of Location Technologies at loopt. He works with carriers and partners to ensure the loopt application integrates with available carrier location capabilities. Prior to joining loopt, Eric was a PhD candidate at Stanford University focused on spatial-temporal systems and measures of spatial uncertainty. Prior to Stanford, Eric was an early employee at inCode Wireless (acquired by Verisign). At inCode, Eric started the WiFi, WiMAX and Mobile LBS service lines. Prior to inCode, Eric co-founded Telispark (acquired by InfoWave). Telispark focused on wireless enabling CRM and ERP systems for the mobile enterprise. Prior to Telispark, Eric was a member of the Wireless and Telecommunications practice at Deloitte Consulting.
