A long-time technology nut who learned BASIC programming on a Challenger 2P in 1980, Eric took a long and circuitous route to Ars Technica. After receiving a BA in history and MA in theological studies, Eric spent nearly a decade at McKinsey & Company, the last six years in the Business Technology Office. Eric also spent a year in the University of Chicago’s computer science graduate program.
