With over 27 years in sales, Eric Amster brings a proven track record for building and leading successful sales teams. Eric joins Tideway Systems from MetaMatrix where he was tasked with growing the company’s presence within commercial enterprises. Prior to joining MetaMatrix, Amster served as Vice President of Operations – the Americas at MetaStorm, Inc. While at MetaStorm, Eric built the North American sales team, resulting in consecutive record-setting quarters. Prior to MetaStorm, Eric held a variety of senior level positions including Vice President of Sales, Americas, for Mercator Software, a leading provider of application integration software. In November 2000, he was named President, Americas, with responsibilities that encompassed overall sales management, services, marketing, financial control and human and legal resources for North, South and Central America. While at Mercator Eric oversaw the growth of the U.S. organization from 10 to over 200 employees and quadrupled revenue, ultimately resulting in the company going public. Eric’s career has also included senior positions at software companies such as CYA Technologies, Digital Paper, General Datacomm and NCR.
