Prior to founding Monashees Capital, Eric led the Latin American practice at General Atlantic, a global private equity investment firm. As an angel investor, he participated in the creation and development of Propay, an HR process outsourcing services provider, and BFC- Brazilian Food Corporation, a casual dinning restaurant chain operator. Before his experience with private equity and venture capital, Eric acted as Product Director at Unibanco Asset Management, Strategic Planning Director at Unibanco, and as management consultant at McKinsey & Company for five years, in their São Paulo and Chicago offices. Eric holds a Diploma in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, a B.A. from ESPM and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
