Emily is on the founding team of UniversityNow, where she is Senior Director of Strategy and Partnerships.
Previously, she was the CEO & Founder of Apply in the Sky, which won the 2010 Women 2.0 PITCH competition.
Prior to founding Apply in the Sky, Emily was a private equity investor at GI Partners in Menlo Park, California, where she focused on technology and healthcare investments and was a Board Observer and advisor to Telx.
Emily started her career as a healthcare and technology, media and telecom investment banker at Goldman Sachs in both New York and San Francisco.
She has also worked at Deutsche Bank in London and Ogilvy Public Relations in Beijing.
She is currently on the Board of Stanford Women in Business and the Head of Operations, and speaker coach / guest curator at TEDx San Francisco.
