Emanuel Timor has twelve years of experience working with start-up companies and emerging businesses as an analyst and investor. At Vertex Venture Capital, Mr. Timor managed numerous investments and was responsible for pre-investment due diligence as well as monitoring portfolio companies throughout their life cycle, from the initial investment and up to and including exit. Mr. Timor’s investment focus is mainly on telecommunications, networking and wireless technologies. Mr. Timor began his career at Vertex as an Investment Manager and became a Partner in 2002. Prior to joining Vertex, Mr. Timor was an articled apprentice at Muscal, Shimonov and Barnea, an Israeli law firm where he acquired expertise in IPOs and M&A. From 1992 to 1997, Emanuel was one of the leading financial journalists for Globes, Israel’s daily business newspaper. He covered the Israeli high-tech and venture capital industry. Mr. Timor has a B.A. in Economics and an LL.B from Tel Aviv University, Israel.
