Elmar brings over 15 years of international experience to gBox including strategic partnerships and merger and acquisitions. With hands-on expertise in accounting, financial planning and enterprise valuation both in United States and Europe, Elmar has a track record of success.
Most recently, Elmar was SVP and CFO at Agentrics. Working with the Board of Directors he merged two companies into an industry leader in hosted software applications (SaaS) for global supply chain management in the retail industry. During his leadership, costs were reduced while maximizing efficiencies - revenues grew from $9 to $41 million.
Previously, as a Department Head of Metro AG, a $70 billion international retailer, Elmar led his corporate teams in financial analysis, strategic plans, investment projects and acquisitions covering operations in over 30 countries. He implemented reporting and consolidation software (SAP-ECCS), promoted value-based management (EVA) and built the business case for an $8 billion spin-off.
Elmar holds an MBA from Fachhochschule Rheinland-Pfalz in Germany and a Diploma from the Controller Academy in Gautingen.
