Dr Einar Vollset was a co-founder of ReMail, a YCombinator funded company acquired by Google in 2010.

He spent 2 years as a Visiting Professor of Computer Science at Cornell University. His research interests are mobile and large scale distributed systems.

He is the founder and CEO of Left Coast R&D, a boutique mobile strategy and development consultancy in Santa Cruz, CA.
