Efraim was one of the original “young tech-entrepreneurs”. Back when it wasnt so cool and fashionable. He started his tech-preneur career at 16. He was a graduate software engineer at 19; and had already led development in 2 successful startups. Efraim developed a double career over the next 10 years: academic & serial-entrepreneur. He continued moving around the world, studying & teaching at 7 different universities in 5 countries while simultaneously leading development in startups. He built a few NGO’s and NPO’s in central america as well as a school in a remote area of northern Brazil. He has also become a very active contributor & icon in the startup movement with a focus on programs and events to help young aspiring entrepreneurs realize their potentials. Programs like 3 Day Startup, Founders Institute, and more. Efraim is an advocate of leanstartup & agile development, which he lectures and teaches around the world at universities, workshops, and in individual startups as a mentor or advisor. Today, Efraim is pursuing the culmination of both his careers: eKita. A global education technology platform. His 8th startup.
