Edward F. Sippel joined Quadrangle Group LLC in 2007 and is a Managing Principal focused on the firm’s $2.9 billion media and communications private equity business. Mr. Sippel will be opening a Hong Kong office for Quadrangle in 2008. Mr. Sippel has lived and worked in Asia since 1997. Prior to joining Quadrangle, Mr. Sippel was a Managing Director and Partner at TVG Capital Partners (“TVGâ€), a private equity firm based in Hong Kong focused exclusively on investments in the telecom, media and technology sectors throughout Asia. In this capacity, Mr. Sippel has led deal teams for private equity investments across Asia and has served on the Board of Directors of several Asian companies. Prior to TVG, Mr. Sippel was with The Asian Infrastructure Fund (“AIFâ€), a private equity firm based in Hong Kong, where he assisted in managing the telecommunications portfolio. Prior to AIF, Mr. Sippel worked in Morgan Stanley’s Global Communications Group in New York. Mr. Sippel received a BA degree from Georgetown University.
