Edin Saracevic is co-founder and Executive Vice President of Technology Development of Personal (www.personal.com), a digital life management platform that gives individuals the tools to build a private, personal network centered on a data vault where they can control access to their personal information and manage their online identity.
Edin leads Personal’s development, user experience and design teams, while helping to shape the company’s overall strategy.
Previously, Edin co-founded The Map Network, one of the first online mapping companies, and served as the company’s Executive Vice President. When the company was acquired by mapping giant NAVTEQ in 2006, Edin served as Director of Online Platform Technology for its Location Content Group. He continued in this role when leading cell phone manufacturer Nokia acquired NAVTEQ in 2008.
Prior to The Map Network, Edin was the founder and President of MapA Productions, Inc., which developed high-end advertising-supported print maps in Europe. Previously, he was the President of Principe and MMM public relations and marketing companies in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina, as well as an award-winning movie producer whose works were featured at the 1994 Berlin Film Festival. Edin received his B.A. from the University of Sarajevo in Bosnia.
