Edi Alvarez, CFP®
Edi Alvarez, CFP®, is the Founder and Principal of Aikapa Financial Planning and Investment Management.
Edi works personally with her clients to develop plans that provide busy professionals with a financial infrastructure that supports their goals. Edi believes in bringing clarity and direction to what can be a daunting amount of financial information. During her professional career, Edi was an accomplished executive and a business owner.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree with Honors as well as a Masters of Science and Bachelor of Education degrees. She holds a NASD Series 65 license and has earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ standard, a highly respected certification in the Financial Industry. Her strong background and professional network within the financial and business areas provides her with insight on how to best design financial plans that meet clients’ current and future needs.
Edi is an active member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of San Francisco and East Bay FPA. She provides pro bono services in her community (through eARN and other local agencies).
She continues to support her community and is currently on the Finance Committee of AWIS (Association for Women in Science) and actively participates in bioe2e, Bio2Device Group and other organizations supporting startup businesses in the Bay Area.
She publishes financial articles and provides workshops for professionals.
