Eden Shochat

Eden Shochat is a general partner in Genesis, an Israeli fund focused at early stage investing. Eden’s investment areas include consumer products, enabling products for funnel based businesses and public cloud infrastructure.

Eden’s approach to investing is “hands-off unless requested” approach. If asked, he has hands-on experience with massively scalable Internet applications, networking, financial algorithms & platforms, client-side 2D/3D graphic engines, software-as-a-service and traditional enterprise software.

Eden also co-organizes the yearly geekcon (http://www.geekcon.org) unconference, mentors up-and-coming high school students with the Startupseeds program and students at the Zell entrepreneurs program & teaches at the Herzlia Interdisciplinary Center (IDC).
