Ed Perry joined Drillinginfo’s executive management team in 2011 to support the company’s rapid growth and expansion of services. Ed’s previous experience includes leadership positions with several successful companies providing software and consulting services to the major global E&P firms. Ed has led offices in the USA, Europe and Southeast Asia, serving the North Sea, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia as well as the United States.
Ed began his professional career in E&P services working for McDermott, Inc. and in the production side of the business for British Petroleum. He has also been a venture capitalist, investing in startups in the industry. Ed earned his bachelors and masters degrees from Rice University in Chemical Engineering. He recently held a Master Teacher position with The Acton School, a nationally recognized entrepreneurial MBA school located in Austin.
