Prior to joining One Kings Lane, Ed Komo was the chief technology officer of FanIQ, a social sports startup with tens of millions of members, where he led the technology transformation of FanIQ.com into a highly scalable site. Prior to that, he was the vice president of engineering at Jigsaw.com, the world’s largest site for contact and company information maintained by community members. At Jigsaw, he grew the team and built innovative technologies and game mechanics, helping the company evolve from startup level into a thriving profitable entity that was later acquired by Salesforce.com. Before that, he was the vice president of engineering at Hotwire.com, one of the most popular travel e-commerce sites worldwide, where he led his team to build and scale the site and platform to handle billions of dollars of sales annually. Prior to Hotwire, Komo has held senior engineering and management positions at AllBusiness.com, Oracle Corporation, Visigenic, and Honeywell Bull. Komo has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from University of California, Berkeley.
