After 10 years of writing code for the web, Eamon founded echolibre in 2008. A PHP development company, echolibre are creators of FRAPI – http://getfrapi.com – an Open Source API framework, and between 2008 and 2011, built software for over 20 Irish and international startups.
In 2010, Eamon organised Funconf, a conference for web geeks – http://funconf.com –which included speakers such as Werner Vogels, CTO Amazon, the founders of GitHub amongst others. Funconf will return in September 2011.
In 2011, Eamon founded and launched Orchestra with his partners in echolibre. Orchestra is a cloud platform for deploying, managing and scaling PHP applications – http://orchestra.io
In 2011 Eamon and his co-founders sold Orchestra to Engine Yard - http://www.engineyard.com/company/press/2011-08-23-engine-yard-joins-forces-with-orchestra
Eamon is a believer in the value of Open Source and Open Data, and is active supporter of both communities, and tries to help out where he can with the local web, mobile and startup communities in Ireland.
