Duncan Kennedy is a leader in the mobile media industry and has more than 15 years experience building successful products and companies. Mr. Kennedy is concurrently President of Mobigardens Corporation, a producer and distributor of made-for-mobile movies. In 2006 the company created “Mobifest”, the world’s largest independent mobile film festival.
Previously Mr. Kennedy was employed at Apple Computer where he managed the QuickTime product line, and initiated Apple’s QuickTime for Windows product. More than five hundred million copies of QuickTime for Windows have been distributed. While at Apple, Mr. Kennedy also produced many of the pioneering Internet webcasts, including the first Internet productions of The Grammy’s, the American Film Institute Lifetime Achievement Awards, and the Sundance Film Festival.
