Mr. Mecum joined Capricorn in 1997. Until September 1996, Mr. Mecum was a partner of G.L. Ohrstrom & Co., a merchant banking firm. From December 1985 to December 1987. Mr. Mecum was President of the Environmental and Engineering Services Unit and a Director of Combustion Engineering, Inc. He served as the managing partner of the New York office of Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. from 1979 to 1985 and as Vice Chairman of the Western Region of Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. from 1973 to 1979. Mr. Mecum is a Director of Citigroup. Lyondell, and Suburban Propane Partners, M.LP. Mr. Mecum holds and M.B.A. from Harvard University and a B.A. from Ohio Wesleyan University.
