Until recently, Dru charged ahead with Heyzap’s Business Development efforts, connecting the best Social Games with the largest internet sites.
Heyzap, funded by Y Combinator & Union Square Ventures, enables Social Game Developers to distribute their Facebook games to Heyzap’s network of 200,000 websites. Heyzap was named one of the top 20 Silicon Valley Startups by Silicon Alley Insider.
Dru’s background is atypical for the gaming industry as his last venture was a wholesale gift manufacturing company, which he sold as a Senior in High School. He went on to briefly attend UC Berkeley before taking a leave of absence to jump into the startup world. He is a Startupist, that is, one who pursues new business ventures.
