Drew Patterson is a search and travel innovator and entrepreneur who has had a key role in disrupting and transforming the online travel industry. Drew currently serves as CEO of Room 77, a hotel search engine that is pioneering a better way for travelers to shop for hotels, instantly searching hundreds of travel sites at once to find the best hotel at the best price. Drew founded and served as CEO of Checkmate, a mobile travel site that was acquired by Room 77 in April 2013. Previously, he co-founded Jetsetter, the leading private sale site that helps travelers discover and purchase the world’s best vacations that was acquired by TripAdvisor in April 2013. Drew served as CEO from the Jetsetter's inception and helped grow the company from an idea to nearly $100 million annual bookings run rate.
Prior to Jetsetter, Drew was part of the founding team at KAYAK and served in a variety of key leadership roles from 2004 to 2009, during which he helped reshape the online travel landscape by evolving the distribution model and increasing industry and consumer awareness around the value of “search” in travel. He began his career at Starwood Hotels as director of distribution and revenue management, where he forged new distribution channels with online travel agents, including Expedia and Travelocity, to increase sales and strengthen the company’s hotel brands.
Drew received his Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University before earning his Masters in Business from Columbia Business School. He currently serves on the board of Trippy.com.
