Mr. Lipsher’s career has spanned nearly twenty years of media and entertainment and digital media and technology corporate development, strategy, and investment. His experiences have covered all aspects of the business including investment activities (private equity and venture), . strategic planning, new business development, technology, operating and Board level activities, restructurings and divestitures. Mr. Lipsher has worked closely with C-Suite executives and senior management to help set, plan and execute strategies and objectives.
He is a highly regarded, trusted advisor and executive with a deep understanding of the evolving needs across all industries and functions as digital and technology continue to permeate and influence the work place.
Prior to joining Korn Ferry International, Mr. Lipsher was the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Clear Channel Media Holdings where he led the global , strategy and corporate development efforts across the radio and outdoor businesses.
Prior to Clear Channel, Mr. Lipsher was a Partner at Greycroft LLC, a digital media venture capital fund where he focused on digital media and consumer internet investments.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Lipsher held senior executive roles at Interscope Geffen A&M Records (a division of Universal Music), News Corporation, BMG Entertainment (a division of Bertelsmann AG) and Warner Music Group (then a division of Time Warner) where he focused on operations, corporate development, and investment activities.
After leaving Warner Music, he joined Maroley Media Group, the private equity firm founded by the former Chairman and CEO of Warner Music where he led the investment efforts.
Mr. Lipsher holds a B.A. in History from Yale University and an M.B.A. form Northwestern University’s J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
