Oliver Thalmann, partner and CFO of Aravis, was formerly a manager in the strategy advisory department of PricewaterhouseCoopers where he conducted projects in the corporate finance and strategy areas for biotech and energy companies.
He was a co-founder of the first Swiss Limited Partnership ever approved by Swiss Federal Banking Commission.
Dr. Thalmann holds a PhD degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen. His PhD thesis was focused on the financing and business development of young biotech companies during which he analyzed more than 14,000 licensing agreements in the biopharmaceutical industry. Oliver Thalmann is a CFA charterholder.
