Dr. Piratla is Chief Scientist - Mobile Servcies & Platforms, Innovation Development with Deutsche Telekom, Inc., R&D Lab. He holds a joint appointment with Deutsche Telekom Labs, Berlin, Germany.His expertise in technology and intuitive acumen for business development makes him an interesting entrepreneur, in mobile technology arena. Earlier, he was a Chief Technologist for T-Labs, and a Visiting Scholar at Stanford University (2008). In 2005, Dr. Piratla had joined T-Labs as a Senior Research Scientist, and within a year led its first spin-off, Qiro GmbH, as Co-founder & CTO. His previous terms at industry also include Lucent/Avaya Inc. (2000-2002), Seagate (1999-2000) and CMC (India) Ltd. (1996-97).
