Doug is a computer vision researcher and co-founder at Prism Skylabs.
He holds a Masters in Computer Science from Stanford University where he worked with Sebastian Thrun on Junior, a self-driving car which was Stanford’s entry to the DARPA Urban Challenge, taking home a million dollar prize.
Doug also worked in the Radio Science group at the NASA Jet Propulsion Lab. At JPL he supported several science experiments on the Cassini spacecraft, as well as providing specialized real-time support for spacecraft launch and landing communication on several missions including the Mars Explorations Rovers, Huygens Probe, and SMART-1.
In 2007 he joined 3VR, creating a computer vision system to automatically recognize and identify objects and people in security video.
In 2011 he co-founded Prism Skylabs.
He can often be found playing Ultimate at Golden Gate Park, or sailing around the Bay.
