Doug Seven is the Executive Vice President at Telerik, a leading provider of tools and controls to improve the process of software development. Seven is currently leading a new division at Telerik, developing an undisclosed product.
Prior to joining Telerik, Seven was the Director of Product Management for Visual Studio, Microsoft’s premier software development toolset. Seven lead and assisted in the 2008 and 2010 releases of Visual Studio and lead the early efforts of the upcoming Visual Studio 11 release. Seven left Microsoft just prior to the Build conference to join Telerik.
Seven has been a part of the Microsoft developer ecosystem for over a decade, beginning with the release of DotNetJunkies.com in 2001 - an online publication educating developers on the emerging .NET Framework. The site grew to include social networking capabilities including forums and user blogs, and spawned a sister site, SqlJunkies.com, for the Microsoft SQL Server community.
