Doug is the founder of Hipster.
Hipster is a fun way to share where you are, and what you are doing.
Previously, Doug started MadKast - a social media / content sharing company - that was a part of the TechStars startup accelerator program in 2007, and acquired by ShareThis.com in 2008.
Following this experience, Doug worked as a Senior Product Manager at SocialVibe, a Redpoint-funded company that develops brand engagement products for social networks and social gaming platforms. In that role, Doug created “Social Currency”, a brand-advertising activity wall, which helped lead to a large-scale partnership with social gaming company Zynga. “Social Currency” powered numerous successful brand campaigns, like the campaign that helped drive 400,000 Facebook Fans for Bing in one day. http://bit.ly/aoZtPq
