Don Whitt is VP of Operations at Alexa Internet, the most established web analytics company and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Amazon.com since 1999. He manages the technical infrastructure supporting corporate and production networks and services.
Whitt has been in the high tech industry for 21 years. For the first 8 years of his career, Whitt was involved in commercial software product development at IDD, Macromedia and Autodesk.
In 1994 America Online acquired Navisoft, creators of the first WYSIWYG browser/server, where Whitt was Director of Operations. He has since managed aspects of IT/MIS and technical operations at Kana Communications, E2open, eBay and now Amazon/Alexa.
