Don Mathis

Don Mathis is the CEO and Co-Founder of Kinetic Social based in NYC. He is also a Naval Officer on reserve service, presently serving as Commanding Officer of a joint-service combat logistics unit. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Incubated in 2010 and launched in 2011, Kinetic Social leverages Big Data to integrate social media, delivering marketing solutions via comprehensive product offerings and cross-platform capabilities at scale across every major social media venue.

Previously, Don Mathis was the CEO of digital ad network Epic Advertising, which was merged into Connexus (backed by Oak Capital Partners, Idealab and Insight Venture Partners) in early 2010. Don Mathis also served as COO of Small World Sports, the first online fantasy sports company, which was sold to The Sporting News (backed by Vulcan Ventures).

Don Mathis has prior professional services experience with McKinsey & Co., AlixPartners, JPMorgan Capital Partners (fka Chase Capital Partners), and Accenture.

In addition to his full-time work and his Naval service, Don Mathis has served on the not-for-profit boards of the educational organization Roads To Success, the non-partisan public policy group Third Millennium, and the documentary film company Magellan Productions.

Don Mathis is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), and has served on the boards of private companies Unified Media, Affinity Labs and Mystic Entertainment Corporation.
