Don A. Lucas

Mr. Lucas is a Second Generation Venture Capitalist located in Silicon Valley. With roots dating back more than 40 years in Venture Capital Investing. Don’s father, Donald L. Lucas is one of the first practicing Venture Capitalist in Silicon Valley having been the first investor in Oracle, Macromedia and Cadence Design. Mr. Lucas worked alongside his father for close to a decade as an associate and direct investor.

Mr. Lucas founded the RWI group of funds in 1993 and the Lucas Venture Group in 2008. The firm’s past investments and personal investment, include PumaTech, nQuire(SEBL), Khimetrics(SAP), Lightspeed(Cisco), Force 10, Infinera, Capella, Esilicon, Sigee, BlueArc, PreviewSystems, Dexcom, Theranos and Tela.
