Dominik P Matyka (born December 9, 1982 in Laurahuette, Silesia) is a serial entrepreneur and co-founder of plista, a Germany-based social recommendation and personalization startup, where he currently serves as CEO.
Matyka attended the University of Vienna, (M.Sc. - Int. Business 2005) and the Cass Business School London (Exch. - Entrepreneurship 2004) He enrolled to the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, in 2006 (Ph.D. - Media and Communication).
Before founding plista he was co-founder and CEO of new.fm, an internet-based music promotion service and hiclip.tv, a Wellington Partners backed videoegg contestant which he sold to Adconion Media Group in 2008.
Matyka also is also engaged in several other German technology startups such as music widget-startup kazzong.com, mashable-award winning site sportme.com and mobile dating stealth startup jupidi.com.
