Dipen Shah is the Senior Vice President at Kotak Securities Ltd., India’s leading stock brokerage firm from the Kotak Mahindra Group.
Kotak Securities is an industry leader in Retail Broking (Equities and other financial products) and Depository Services business.
Presently, Dipen Shah heads the Fundamental Research for the firm. He is also an Information Technology (IT) analyst and his expertise in the field is highly sought after in the industry.
Prior to joining the Kotak Mahindra Group, Dipen worked as a Research Analyst with Dolat Capital Market Private Ltd. - An investment and financial advisory house, a player in the Indian Capital Markets and Financial Services for nearly four decades. He worked in this position from the year 1997 to 2004. After having spent seven years working in Dolat Capital, Dipen moved on to join Kotak Securities Ltd. in 2004 as an Associate Vice President.
In his dynamic current role, he heads a team of 10 research analysts from various sectors and consolidates their efforts and inputs to offer cutting edge research reports for the clients. Dipen has a total of 13 years work experience in the field of research, of which he has dedicated 7 years to the Kotak family.
Dipen has received a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from R A Podar College, Mumbai, India. He is also a qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
