Desmond is a software developer with an academic background in working with data, designing algorithms and artificial intelligence.
After graduating from University of British Columbia in Vancouver in 2009. Desmond spent two years working as a Software Engineer at Kashoo, a local SaaS startup in Vancouver. He is involved in designing and developing all aspects of the web based accounting application for small businesses as a member of a small team.
In 2011, Desmond took an opportunity to further his career by joining the newly established Amazon.com Vancouver as a Software Development Engineer. He is currently working on the next generation of Amazon’s internal financial and accounting platform.
