As CTO, Delane leads the engineering, technology, and operations organizations at DataSphere Technologies. He started with SecondSpace in the first few days providing the technical roadmap and direction for delivery of the software platform and the suite of SecondSpace sites. We re-founded SecondSpace into DataSphere when we added Media and ecommerce divisions. Delane brings over 20 years of experience to the company, having served as an architect and various other leadership roles with Microsoft for the past 15 years and at Boeing before that. At Microsoft, he launched highly scalable web sites and services including Windows Marketplace, MSN Shopping and MSN HomeAdvisor. Additional products include best-of breed developer tools like Microsoft Visual Studio and Microsoft SQL Server’s Repository. Delane has authored 13 patents and published many technical papers. He holds an MS in Computer Science from George Washington University and an MS in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University.
