Dejen Tesfagiorgis is an entrepreneur and musician fighting to fulfill his human potential.
He graduated as the 2008 Tommie Award Winner (and Commencement Lecturer) from the University of St. Thomas (MN), with degrees in Music and Entrepreneurship. His company, ArtsApp Media Management, is Monster.com for multimedia.
ArtsApp focuses on bridging the gap between the academic arts and technology, and currently works to facilitate the audition and application process for select programs at the Juilliard School and University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music.
As a saxophonist, Tesfagiorgis has studied with Ryan Meisel, Roscoe Mitchell, David Murray and Reuben Haugen, and performs at venues across the Twin Cities.
