Deepak is involved in sourcing, executing, and managing investments for CIC. Prior to joining CIC, Deepak worked as an independent consultant to several telecom startups, including M5 Networks, Purple Communications, and Sigma Networks. Prior to this role, Deepak held various product strategy and product management roles at Lucent Technologies. Before joining Lucent, he was co-founder of an Internet software company named ikimas, inc. Deepak began his career in investment banking at Credit Suisse First Boston Technology Group. He graduated from the Management & Technology Program at the University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The Wharton School and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the School of Engineering & Applied Science.
Deepak serves on the Boards of BelAir Networks, New Global Telecom, and Vyatta and is actively involved in CIC’s investments in Arbor Networks, Jingle Networks, RGB Networks, and StrataLight Communications.
