Declan Coyne joined Nephila in August 2007 as the Assistant Fund Controller. His primary responsibilities relate to the daily operations of the funds, including internal and external reporting, coordination with the funds’ administrators and management of the internal accounting procedures and investor reporting.
Declan began his career in fund accounting in Dublin, Ireland in 1999 before moving to Bermuda and joining Citigroup’s Alternative Investments in 2005. Overall, Declan has gained experience with a diverse group of hedge funds across a wide range of investment strategies, structures, securities and markets. Declan attended University College Dublin and received his Bachelor of Commerce in 1999, and his Masters in Economic Science in 2001. He obtained his Chartered Certified designation in 2008.
