Ms. Liebert joined Domain in 2007 and became a Principal in 2008. She specializes in the creation of new portfolio companies. Ms. Liebert has 27 years of drug development and business development experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry. Prior to joining Domain, she provided development and business consulting services to the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, most recently acting as the Head of Development for a pharmaceutical company developing early and late phase oncology product candidates. Ms. Liebert served as Executive Director of New Product Management for CancerVax Corporation where she designed and implemented development plans for pipeline product candidates. Prior to CancerVax, Ms. Liebert held the position of VP, Corporate Development at Atairgin Technologies, Inc., where she led product and business development, and at Trega Biosciences, Inc., where she participated in corporate development transactions including merger of the company. Previously, Ms. Liebert managed clinical research programs for Trega Biosciences, Inc., Gensia, Inc., the Institute for Biological Research and Development, and Merck & Co.
