Deap Ubhi is the founding CEO of burrp.com, a local search startup based out of Mumbai, India. The company was recently acquired by publicly traded yellow pages company, Infomedia 18 Ltd, for an undisclosed amount.
Deap was born and raised in Marin County, California and attended the University of California, Davis, where he graduated in Management Economics with high honors. He then moved to Marsh & McLennan Company and was a co-founder of their internal strategic M&A division. From there, he moved to Alpine Investors LLC, a middle market leveraged buyout firm based in San Francisco.
