David ‘DC’ Collier is a game designer and founder of Pikkle KK, a tokyo based social games provider. Pikkle provide mobile social games, with a mix of original and titles developed with partners EA/Playfish and BandaiNamco. Japanese investors include Mixi, CyberAgent, IVP and Ant Factory.
Before this he was Business Creator at Namco, overseeing global mobile expansion. DC also founded one of the first browser game companies “Gamelet.com” in San Francisco. Gamelet was acquired by PacketVideo prior to their closing a $100M series E funding around.
In the early 1990s DC founded TripMedia, a game developer in his native London. Their title “Burn:Cycle” debuted on the game charts at #1 and was followed by the self-published “Virtual Nightclub”.
In his spare time he started “JGram.org” a site for students of japanese grammar.
