David Vellante is an entrepreneur, publisher and founder of the Wikibon Project, an open source research and advisory community. He is also a co-host and investor in The CUBE, a live TV production that has been called “The ESPN of Tech,” reaching many millions of viewers since its enterprise launch in May 2010.
Vellante spent more than a decade at research firm IDC and started the company’s storage practice. He served as Senior Vice President of Enterprise Hardware and Software, and rebuilt what became the company’s largest division, which now exceeds $100M in revenue annually. He was also active within IDG, the firm’s publishing arm and served on the Board of Directors at Computerworld.
