Prior to co-founding Air, David spent 15 years in various development and management positions with Symbionics, Conexant, LSI Logic and Dialog based both in the UK and US.
His high volume, standard product, consumer IC background spans both analog and digital silicon development – ranging from system level to transistor level design. He has participated in the development of over 20 semiconductor products for the wireless voice, wireless data, digital TV and PC graphics markets.
David holds a degree in Engineering from University of Hull, UK, is a Fellow of the IET, a Senior Member of the IEEE and is registered as a Chartered Engineer with both ECUK and FEANI. He holds thirteen granted patents, with several further pending patent applications.
