David Slater is the CEO of Flixlab, a start-up focused on making consumer video easy to edit, share, and embedded with rich meta-data to bring video fully into the social web. David previously oversaw a mix of consumer and collaboration products at Adobe and in product development and marketing in the early days at educational toy creator Leapfrog, where he honed his skills at making shiny objects that blink, talk, and delight the most fickle of consumers. David has a MBA from Berkeley, Masters in technology from Stanford, and a film degree from Ithaca College, which he largely uses to make the most utterly fantastical & frivolous videos.
